Canso's annual Stan Rogers Folk Festival, honouring the legendary singer/songwriter who made the region his second home and gained inspiration for some of his most popular songs from the people, places and stories of the area, kicks off this weekend with Don MacLean (American Pie), Corb Lund and Sarah Harmer headlining the mainstage in addition to an impressive list of more than 100 shows by regional, national and international performers.
